Atlanta, GA -- Michael Coles, Democratic nominee for United States Senate, today commented on Paul Coverdell’s acceptance of Mr. Coles’ challenge to a series of debates. “Although it took Mr. Coverdell more than two weeks to respond, I am very pleased he has finally accepted my challenge to debate the issues important to Georgia’s hardworking families,” Coles stated. “I am ready to debate Mr. Coverdell anytime, anywhere.” Coles first offered his debate challenge during his acceptance speech on primary night, July 21.
