In a recent Coverdell campaign radio spot, a female voice praises Coverdell’s attempt at “ending literacy” in the United States. “There’s no telling how far the Quayle-Coverdell team can go in ending literacy in the United States,” stated Coles spokesman Peter Kennedy. “This is an area with which the former Vice President has had ample experience, and he has apparently found an able partner in Paul Coverdell.” “This new initiative goes to another level,” stated Kennedy. “The program to ‘end literacy’ could have far reaching effects.
