Both national and local Club activists join me in extending to you the Sierra Club's support for your campaign in light of your expressed commitment to protecting America's environment. In 1998, the Sierra Club agenda will focus on the most pressing environmental issues: reducing Global Warming emissions; implementing the new Clean Air standards; protecting several Endangered Species; and safeguarding our National Forests.
