Emmanuel Church of Piedmont Parish

This beautiful historical church in Delaplane, Virginia was founded in the mid-1800's. It stands in the middle of a grove of black walnut trees and is surrounded by an historical cemetery which is the subject of a new documentary from Davenport Films.

The initial Website for Emmanuel Church was launched in May, 2000 -- in time for the church's annual Strawberry Festival. It is now being maintained by the members of the church, and will eventually be enhanced to include a history of the church and its cemetery, a calendar of events, weekly news and notices, audio selections from the choir, and a gallery of photos -- both old and new.
